Before I go any further I want to establish basic beliefs. When teaching
a Sunday School class a few years ago I was going to start looking at
prophesy in the Gospel of Matthew in a new light. Before doing that I
wanted to establish a baseline of the important matters of salvation so
we needn’t worry about anyone shouting “BLASPHEMY”.
These are the 10 questions I presented:
This sums up the totality of the Gospel which was given to Paul for us during this Dispensation of Grace.
[1 Corinthians 15:3-4] 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
[Ephesians 2:8-9] 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
These are the 10 questions I presented:
- Is Jesus the Son of God? ➜ YES
- Was Jesus pre-existent to God's creation? ➜ YES
